Join us for this unique opportunity where we will bring together our 4K - 12 Math consultant - Diamond Gulick, former kindergarten teacher of 20+ years, - Tricia Lund, Early Childhoold Consultant Sue Erickson, and WSPEI CESA 12 representative Stephanie Lulich. This is a FREE workshop that is funded by the WISElearn Innovation Grant. Cost of food and the venue is covered by the grant. Additionally, each district will receive $150.00 to offset the cost of a sub.

Join us as we explore high-quality instructional materials aligned to Early Childhood standards and the WWC "Teaching Math to Young Children Practice Guide." We'll delve into the latest research from Amy Claessens' "Too Little Math for Preschool Kids-4K" and see how it compares with your current classroom practices.
But that's not all! We'll journey through learning trajectories developed by experts Doug Clements and Julie Samara, DREME lessons, and model math processes designed to captivate young learners. From building foundational number sense to sparking curiosity in geometry, you'll leave equipped with new strategies and a deeper understanding of how to strengthen your math instruction for your youngest students.
