Summary

Part of the Pupil Services Network Hybrid events

Description

Target Audience: School Mental Health Pupil Services Staff (counselors, psychologists, social workers, interventionists) and Administrators

Description: A comprehensive school-based mental health system is built through the Wisconsin School Mental Health Framework. We will discuss commitments that are the foundation for building the framework upon, the six components of the framework, consideration for overlap of components in the academic and behavior systems, and provide time for districts to reflect on their current programming within the components. Resources will be shared for districts to build their knowledge building up the components. This is an excellent workshop to gain a snapshot of your school's mental health system. Updates from CESA 12, DPI, regional counties, and districts will be shared and networking will include sharing of information from WSCA and Building the Hearts conferences.
